Teaching as Co-Constructing Learning through facilitation: What is it that we want to learn together--what is our essential or guiding question? How will we construct the learning opportunities for optimal growth, understanding and application? It starts with careful, thoughtful planning, keeping the "end in mind" through outcome/learning/ target focus, finding creative protocols, strategies and activities for exploration. How will we know what we need to learn? Assessment of learning and for learning will provide the guide. |

Leadership as Service to Community: One of the models I use as a mentor and coach is the model of the Mobius Strip, where there is no beginning and no end. It is the fluidity of "presence." What is needed at any particular point in time? |
